Ryan: The split toning is actually stronger on this one than it is on the other one. The bluer one is just 850K cooler. Cleaned up the halation a little bit, but I might apply the same settings to the other one since I like the composition a bit better.

  1. ryanswartz said: Ah. Shifted temps can have a split-tone look when the source/shadow tones are pronounced. However the sliders were set, the 1st shot had a shadow tone which didn’t read as the natural compliment. The 2nd feels plausible while preserving the mood.
